MOVE IT 2016

This weekend (18th – 20th March 2016) was the UK’s biggest annual dance event, MOVE IT. The convention has been held successfully every year since 2005 and this year was no different!

Dancers of all levels and walks of life came together in spectacular fashion at ExCel London to sample classes, performances and advice from all corners of the dance community. Thousands of people visited the arena to browse, dance or simply soak in the positive atmosphere that is created within the MOVE IT bubble.

This year London Studio Centre attended the event in style, taking along a rather large and iconic red double decker bus. Our main focus for the occasion was to help students find the best route into dance education and so staff and students were on hand all weekend giving help or advice as required. Prospective dance students also had the fantastic opportunity of sampling what our college has to offer by taking part in numerous classes and audition workshops led by LSC teachers and student representatives in our very own LSC studio. The whole weekend was a massive success and we certainly had some fun along the way!
