Overseas Auditions

LSC Associate Programme Auditions - London / West Midlands

In light of the current situation, LSC Associates are only accepting video recorded auditions until further notice – Please find advice and instructions below:

We have made some changes to the normal requirements but understand that you’re unlikely to have access to a dance studio or large space in order to film your audition.

Where possible, we would like to see all dance elements from each applicant (please see guide below). Please include as much as you can; however, if you are unable to include everything, this will not go against your application. We are fully aware of the limitations at this current time.

We would love to see you get as creative as possible. You could complete ballet using your kitchen worktop as your barre, do you jazz kicks down the hallway or perform your solo in the garden. We know that you may have limited space, so you can also include other footage you already have of you dancing/performing.

You may want to look at the LSC Living page on Instagram (@LSCliving) for some inspiration on how our students are currently keeping active whilst away from our facilities; they are using the space they have access to in some clever ways.

Please also include a brief statement to the camera about previous training and experience, including why you would like to partake in pre-vocational training with LSC Associates and why you think the course would be right for you. 2 minutes maximum.

Total running time: 20 minutes maximum

Please submit your videos by 30th June, if you do need more time then please just stay in touch. We do not want you to feel under pressure to get the videos to us if you are unwell or are not able to film at home.

Deadline Date: 30th June 2020
