The Kit Kat Klub says "Wilkommen" to LSC graduate Hannah Dodd.

One of the biggest recent hits in the West End has been a bravely reimagined production of Cabaret at the Kit Kat Klub(the renovated Playhouse Theatre). LSC is immensely proud of 2017 BA (Hons) graduate Hannah Dodd, who is the latest in a string of high-profile performers to join the cast of Cabaret as lead role, Sally Bowles.

Hannah completed her BA as a member of Seedtime, our 3rd year Musical Theatre Company. Since graduating, she appeared in many acclaimed films and television series, including Anatomy of a Scandal, Enola Holmes 2, Marvel’sEternals, Fighting with My Family and saw her profile raise even higher when she took on the role of Francesca Bridgerton in Bridgerton.

Previous actors to play Sally Bowles in the West End production of Cabaret include Jessie Buckley, Amy Lennox, Madeline Brewer, Aimee Lou Wood and Marisha Wallace. Hannah is joined on stage by Rob Madge as Emcee.

Reflecting on her time at LSC from the rehearsal room for Cabaret, Hannah had the following to say:

“I’m super grateful for my time at London Studio Centre and the skillset it gave me to go out into this industry. It’s always comforting to find other alumni in the workplace and how supportive LSC grads are of each other – I’m currently working with Kayla Lomas-Kirton and Alanna Kajdi in the Choreography department, who are beyond talented and have taken care of me throughout this step back into musical theatre. I’m grateful for the network that LSC have created!”

At our 2024 Graduation Ceremony, we were delighted to welcome Hannah back to her alma mater to give an inspirational speech to our graduates.
