string(1726) "Edd at London Studio Centre, where he was a member of INTOTO Dance. He has enjoyed a varied career as a dancer, teacher and rehearsal director. Upon graduating he performed with Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake (UK and International Tour), Cabaret by Javier de Frutos (Savoy Theatre), Pet Shop Boys/Javier de Frutos’ The Most Incredible Thing (Sadlers Wells), for which he was also associate choreographer, and many other projects with Darren Ellis Dance, Stephen Pelton Dance Theatre, Lynne Page, The Royal Opera House, Glyndebourne and Opera de Lille. More recently he has established a long association with Yorke Dance Project as a company dancer and rehearsal director, Edd has performed work by Martha Graham, Robert Cohan, Kenneth MacMillan and Yolande Yorke-Edgell.

Personal highlights include dancing the role of the Minotaur in Martha Graham’s Errand Into the Maze – the first British company to do so since the 1970s – and rehearsal directing and performing in the company’s film adaptation of Kenneth MacMillan’s Sea of Troubles, which went on to win Best Dance Film at the National Dance Awards 2024. In 2020 he was honoured to have a solo created for him by Sir Robert Cohan as part of Afternoon Conversations with Dancers – the late choreographer’s final work, which was also filmed under the title Lockdown Portraits. As a teacher, Edd has worked with many of the UK’s top conservatoires and has been a faculty member at London Studio Centre since 2015, specialising in Graham-based contemporary technique. He also has a keen interest in preserving and restaging dance work and is in training as a choreologist in Benesh Movement Notation."
