The Musical Theatre pathway at London Studio Centre is available on multiple programmes at undergraduate and postgraduate level. The comprehensive curriculum includes intensive training in Acting, Improvisation, Voice, Speech, Singing, and Musical Theatre Repertoire. At the heart of the programme are dance technique classes in Ballet, Jazz, Tap and Contemporary dance.
The Singing tuition includes in depth study of Musical Theatre Repertoire, and weekly private Singing classes help students prepare for auditions and public performance. Students receive bespoke and individualised support in all aspects of training to ensure they are guided toward their full potential.
London Studio Centre has a proven history of producing ‘triple-threat’ performers that have gone on to highly successful careers in musical theatre. Alumni from the musical theatre pathway have worked in the West End and on Broadway, as well as UK and international touring productions such as Hamilton, Matilda the Musical, The Phantom of the Opera, Wicked, Mamma Mia!, Hairspray, Disney’s Frozen the Musical, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, CATS, Mary Poppins and many, many more.
