INTOTO DANCE is proud to present a programme of stimulating and entertaining dance and dance theatre, reflecting the eclecticism of contemporary dance today.

“The company had a captivating performance quality and great presence. The varied repertoire showed off the diverse technical ability. A very enjoyable evening of dance!” – Jane Woolley, dance practitioner for Rambert

In its 25-year history, INTOTO DANCE has been committed to supporting emerging choreographers, as well as commissioning work from established figures in the world of contemporary dance and dance theatre. INTOTO presents excitingly diverse programmes, performed by talented undergraduate dancers from London Studio Centre, one of the country’s most prestigious performing arts colleges.

For 2017, expect dance theatre from the rising talent of Wayne Parsons, enjoy the unique physicality of Joseph Toonga and savour the creation of GSCE syllabus choreographer James Cousins.

An evening of fresh, dynamic and theatrical dance – not to be missed!

FORMER INTOTO DANCE COMPANY MEMBERS

INTOTO DANCE celebrates a breadth of careers upon graduation and beyond. The experience of working with the company facilitates and inspires graduates to go on to successful careers as artists, practitioners and dance leaders in the UK and overseas. Some go on to perform with national companies including Rambert Dance Company, Richard Alston Dance Company, Phoenix Dance Theatre, Matthew Bourne’s New Adventures, Mark Bruce Company, Michael Clark Company, Rosie Kay Dance Company, Punchdrunk and Yorke Dance Project. Many found their own companies, such as Olivier and Critics Circle Award nominee Clemmie Sveaas (New Movement Collective), Anna-Lise Marie Hearn (Anna-Lise Marie Dance), Lucy Ridley and Lauren Bridle (The People Pile), Heidi Rustgaard (H2 Dance) and Luke Brown (Luke Brown Dance). Many former company members are performing in the West End, in high profile productions for English National Opera and The Royal Opera and appearing in films by the BBC and Channel 4. For some, their horizons are widened to successful careers as independent performers and choreographers or going on to work in arts management, teaching, working as producers, as associate choreographers in the West End or lecturing in Higher Education. The wide range of career paths demonstrates the high levels of technical excellence, creativity, passion and versatility that students develop as part of INTOTO DANCE.
